“I started growing a mustache in senior year of high school (after class pictures to keep the folks happy) and waxed it into a handlebar as soon as I could! I have not shaved the handlebar since (though often trimmed the ends too much trying to even them out) but my beard comes and goes. Practical in most New Hampshire winters to warm my face though this winter is mild.

“Other interests are motorcycling on the street and in the dirt (96 Triumph Tiger, 87 Honda Transalp, 74 OSSA SDR project and many past vintage enduro bikes); kayaking, trying to lose my winter insulating fat ;-)

“I've used Clubman wax as it is the only thing available in town. Recently tried Stern's Hungarian from Amazon but I'm not sure I like it (or the price for a tiny tube).”
